A dream place to stay. Although we only ate the cake, but I have not eaten such a great cake with homemade whipped cream for a long time. A little paradise away from all the hustle and bustle. Come back for sure.

Incredibly beautiful oasis. Super delicious food. Everything selfmade. I ate the best meatballs in the world. Friendly owners. We were there too long for our bike ride. Had 40km ahead of us. But it was just too nice to be short.

Have stayed here on a bike ride. An absolute highlight. A feeling like in the south of France! Homemade meatball with fresh herbs from the cards and two great owners. Definitely worth the wait!

Once again we are immersed in the cultural landscape of the Elbe valley meadows east of Hamburg, our goal after various rummaging around: the courtyard "Paradiesgarten", developed and designed by Thomas and Babette Grosch over many years as a refuge - with ample opportunities to retreat Listening to birds, studying plants, taking a walk across the dike and meadows to the Elbe, having a cappuchino chat with the owners. Lately we have also been able to experience overnight accommodation in the extended outbuilding - rustic, simple and functional - with a view of the starry sky through the skylights. Food is also well taken care of - an evening drink in the shade of the giant oak trees sets the mood for the night. So, a really good way to regenerate the senses struck by city life.

Very nice house, the accommodation for the price (€ 60.00 the double room for single use) was completely overpriced: sloping rooms under the roof, sparsely furnished, only accessible via a steep staircase, a mini shower and a mini toilet for all three rooms together . The landlady immediately insulted when we addressed the overpricing. The "host" cooked us well and inexpensively and was very friendly despite our doubts about the price-performance ratio of the accommodation. On our entire bike tour from the Czech Republic to Hamburg, we have not seen such a "rip off". We also like to pay a good price if everything fits together. We would also like to stay one night, but not at the cost. Too bad. The house and garden are beautiful. But we just couldn't feel comfortable in the rooms ...

By chance we landed in this natural paradise on Whit Monday! the nice innkeepers spoiled us with a fresh coffee and a homemade, really very delicious apple pie (actually it was 2 pieces) - the one from a huge mountain !!! Cream was crowned ... on our discovery tour through the enchanted garden - we let the souls dangle and enjoyed the peace and the view from the nearby Elbe dike ... We will be happy to come back. Parking is available at the house ... There is a small menu and enough choice of drinks ...
